No, you cannot use a universal license plate mount for the Bonneville, Thruxton, or Scrambler. Do it right and get one that's made for the chassis. The swing-arm design on the Triumph will not accept most vertical license plate mounts. We've designed it to fit snug and properly on your axle, so you can torque down the axle nut correctly.
